About this villa
Two-bedroom private villa in Petulu, Ubud: a 3×7 m infinity pool, two king ensuites and a full kitchen, six minutes from Ubud Palace.
The entrance is off Jl. Tirta Tawar, down a narrow alley between two family compounds. It feels like you might be lost, then the path opens into the garden and host I Nyoman Suardika or his family meets you with a chilled young coconut. Most guests sit on the pool edge and stop talking for a minute.
The two king-bed ensuites are separate pavilions on either side of the pool, each with a walk-in closet, safe, desk, AC and TV, and they lock from the inside. Bathrooms are split (toilet and shower) and the water is properly hot. The kitchen is its own pavilion across the garden, with a gas stove, full-size fridge, rice cooker and bread maker, plus an outdoor dining area and BBQ.
The 3×7 m infinity pool is the heart of the property: open 24 hours with filtration that runs almost constantly, which one guest called the cleanest water they had swum in across Bali. Sun loungers line one side, the garden wraps the other. We can bring a floating breakfast or a warung breakfast to the deck.
Petulu is the heron village just north of Ubud centre: six minutes to Ubud Palace and the market, ten to the Monkey Forest, fifteen to the Tegalalang rice terraces. Reviewers mention Bella Tacos nearby and Cafe Balismo within walking distance. There is parking for two cars and an EV charger. Honest note: roosters greet the sunrise and a neighbour dog may bark, which most guests take as a reminder that this is real Bali, not a resort.
