Seminyak is the polished side of the south coast: upscale restaurants, boutiques and a long sunset beach. Stay here if dining and shopping are the point of the trip, and you want everything within a walkable strip rather than a village.
About 75 to 90 minutes from DPS airport. Angga Sari Villa itself is in Petulu, six minutes from Ubud Palace.
Ubud is our home base and where Angga Sari Villa sits. Expect jungle, rice terraces, temples and yoga, with the cultural heart of Bali a short ride away. It is the quietest of these areas at night, which is exactly why guests pick it.

Uluwatu is cliffs, world-class surf breaks and clifftop sunsets. It is more spread out than Canggu, so you will lean on a scooter or car, and it rewards guests who want dramatic coastline and don't mind being away from the island's centre.

Sanur is the calm, family-friendly coast: a flat beachfront path, gentle water and easy ferries to the Nusa islands. Choose it for early sunrises, small children and a slower pace, rather than nightlife.
